2027 EOIs now open – find out more
Wynnum Wolves FC earned its first, much coveted promotion to the National Premier Leagues (NPL) Queensland – the state’s premier football competition – in 2024.
Three years into its NPL tenure the club continues to lift the professionalism of the men’s program at Wynnum – and for 2026 has introduced expanded training opportunities for players who have the desire, commitment and ambition to improve their football. Wynnum’s new hybrid training model offers a mix of both morning and early evening sessions and access to tailored exercise physiology guidance and S & C sessions to lift standards across the First team space. Squad members will have the opportunity to train up to five times a week on the field and be supported by a highly experienced High Performance team off the field.
The motivation for this new hybrid training model is two-fold according to Wynnum Wolves Head Coach Graham Harvey: to lift standards and performances across the program; and to help bridge the gap between NPL and professional level football for those players who have the ambition to push for higher-level opportunities in the game.
NPL Queensland will once again be a 12-team men’s league in 2026, kicking off in February. NPL teams will also compete in the Kappa Pro Series alongside FQPL 1 second-tier clubs – and will contest the Queensland Cup/Australia Cup knockout competition.
Opportunities to trial for Wynnum’s NPL Men’s teams – Firsts and Under 23s – are by INVITATION ONLY each season at the discretion of our NPL Head Coach and Football Director. Any enquiries about the men’s space at Wynnum Wolves can be directed to
