Wynnum Wolves vs Gold Coast Knights

We continue our NPL campaign this Saturday with our men’s side set to take on reigning premiers, Gold Coast Knights, at 6:15 PM at Carmichael Park.

After suffering an unlucky defeat in difficult conditions last weekend, the men’s side will be keen to put things right in round two and record their first points of the 2025 NPL campaign.

Gold Coast Knights, having added some key signings to their squad in the off-season, came out of the blocks on top in Round one, securing a 3-1 home victory against former NPL champions Lions FC.

Wolves supporters should look out for tricky winger Lucas Martins, who is in a rich vein of goal-scoring form at the moment. Having scored our first goal in the Kappa Pro Series against Brisbane Strikers, the youngster also opened our NPL goal-scoring account last weekend, firing one into the top corner inside the first five minutes.

Tonights clash will also sees Wolves’ new man and creative midfielder Emilio Martinez return to face his former club, having spent the 2024 season with Knights, adding extra intrigue to an already exciting fixture.

Saturday’s action at Carmichael Park will kick off at 6:15PM, with the match being live-streamed on FQTV
