Last weekend, Wynnum Wolves hosted a sausage sizzle fundraiser at Manly West Bunnings in support of the fantastic Stand By U Foundation, one of the two charities the club will champion in 2025.

Despite torrential rain throughout the day, Saturday’s BBQ was a huge success. The event was supported by our 2025 NPL Men’s squad and a dedicated team of volunteers from both the Stand By U and Wynnum Wolves communities, who came together, rolled up their sleeves, and cooked up a storm. On the day, the BBQ sold over 50kg of sausages, along with countless soft drinks, raising over $2,300.

All funds raised will go directly to the Stand By U Foundation, marking a significant first step toward the club’s goal of raising $50,000 for this worthy cause.

If you weren’t able to make it out to Manly last Saturday, don’t worry!  We’ll be hosting another BBQ fundraiser on Saturday, December 7th, supporting The Mini Farms Project. Our FQPL Women’s team will be out championing this BBQ on the day , so stay tuned to our social media for more details.
