THE HOME OF THE WOLVES

We’re proud of the fields and facilities we now enjoy at Carmichael Park, which has been the home of our century-old club since the early 1990s.

Carmichael Park boasts four full-sized pitches – all under lights – which are used seven-days-a-week by the 600-plus members of the club. Schools, other community and corporate groups also hire the Carmichael Park fields for use at times throughout the year.

The club is also excited about plans to expand its playing field options by developing a fifth field – for use by Wynnum Wolves’ young Mini-Roos players – as well as a dedicated goalkeeper training area in the near future. New fencing and netting have been recently completed around all four existing fields, as well as the club’s entrance and future fifth field. 

Facilities at the grounds include two dressing room blocks on each side of the complex which feature four dedicated dressing rooms and a referees’ room adjacent to Field 1 (Wayne Gracey Field) and two large dressing rooms and referees’ room adjacent to Field 3 (Eddie Wilkins Field). Large new dugouts have been added to Fields 1, 2 and 4 at the grounds, while the existing Field 3 dugouts have been refurbished.  

A new weather-proof two-story video tower has recently been erected between Fields 1 and 4 to enable videoing and live streaming of matches from an optimal height. Installation of the new dugouts and video tower has also allowed the club to expand all-important storage space for training equipment.

We have a dedicated Medical Room and Game Day Office space at the entrance to Carmichael Park as well as internal office space. Exciting plans are in place to refurbish, repurpose and re-open the two-story clubhouse adjacent to Wayne Gracey Field, and also increase seating, shade and further storage around the grounds.
